Wedding Photographer in Philadelphia

When it comes to providing the kind of raw emotions that make for great wedding photos, there is nothing quite like the moment when a couple is finally standing in front of each other and ready to officially tie the knot. As wedding photographers based in Washington, DC, we never know exactly what we are going to get… And that makes it exciting for us! Some brides and grooms cry, others laugh and some just do all they can to remember their “lines.”

This bride, however, gave us something unique when face-to-face with her future husband; something that spoke volumes about their relationship and the reasons why they were marrying in the first place. Their road to the altar was long and winding. The couple had been together for years and had even become parents to two young boys. So by the time they said their vows at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in Philadelphia, there were no surprises left. As a result, the expression on the bride’s face reflected not unrestrained joy or a bubbling-over of emotions, but instead serene contentment. Visible in her eyes and smile was a deep satisfaction at having reached and passed a significant milestone in her life alongside the man she loves.
