A Destination Engagement Full of Heart

For Kaveri and Shriman, this celebration wasn’t just a formality — it was a beautiful promise made before their loved ones. The event was filled with vibrant South Indian traditions — from the exchange of garlands and blessings from elders, to emotional family moments that reminded us why we love documentary wedding photography.

For us, it was a destination engagement — a chance to fly halfway across the world to capture a love story deeply rooted in Chennai’s warmth, colors, and rhythm. We arrived as photographers but quickly became part of the family — documenting smiles, rituals, and those fleeting moments that will one day become cherished memories.

The décor was a stunning mix of traditional brass lamps, jasmine garlands, and tropical blooms, reflecting the couple’s Tamil heritage with a modern touch. Kaveri looked radiant in her silk saree, while Shriman complemented her elegance in a classic kurta. Every frame — from the ceremonial rituals to candid laughter shared with siblings and cousins — spoke volumes about who they are as a couple: deeply connected, joyful, and grounded in tradition.
