This past weekend, we had the honor of capturing a very sweet and thoughtful proposal at Georgetown University in Washington DC. Max and Mary Jane met through mutual friends and fell in love while living in the Nation’s Capital. She then moved to London for work. A DMV native, Mary Jane was back in Washington DC for Thanksgiving, so Max thought it would be the perfect moment to propose!
Georgetown was also the perfect place for that beautiful moment. Though Max grew up between London and Frankfurt, he came to the that famous DC institution to get his Masters. As they dated, he and Mary Jane spent of a lot of time on the Georgetown campus, creating a lot of memories that Max wanted to evoke during the proposal. He particularly liked the university’s main building and hoped to use its grandeur as the backdrop.
We got to Georgetown University Campus early and started taking pictures of Max and Mary Jane’s sweet proposal!
